End-to-end accountability for technology and results
I take accountability for technology organisations at a turning point. Alongside architecture and engineering quality, I carry delivery margin, utilisation and vendor relationships. 25 years of experience, from start-up to listed company.

Four ways I get brought in
I usually get the call at a turning point: a migration that has stalled, an engineering organisation that no longer delivers predictably, or a technology function where both quality and margin are under pressure. I step in, take accountability, and make sure it holds after I leave.
Interim leadership & accountability
I step in as CTO, Head of Engineering or Director of Technology and take over accountability. Calm in delivery, and at handover an organisation that stands stronger than it did on day one.
Enterprise & composable architecture
I design digital ecosystems on MACH principles: headless, API-first and cloud-native. Monolithic complexity out, agility and scalability in. Former member of the MACH Alliance Technology Council.
Architecture & technology review
A review with a fixed scope: architecture, code base, pipeline, licensing and IP, suppliers, and where critical knowledge sits with one person. With a risk picture and a recommendation you can take to the board.
Technology strategy & roadmapping
I translate boardroom ambition into an executable roadmap: lower cost, shorter time to market, and an engineering organisation aligned to what the business is trying to achieve.
25 years of end-to-end accountability across global brands
From building development teams for start-ups to leading technology divisions inside large international organisations. My career sits at the intersection of engineering leadership, enterprise architecture and the commercial side of delivery: I have carried the margin as well as the architecture underneath it.
I step into complex situations, create clarity, and leave organisations on stronger foundations than I found them. Usually that means taking over an engineering organisation under pressure, stabilising it without pausing the programme already running, and placing ownership so that it holds after I leave.
Engineering management & stabilisation
Diagnose the cause of delivery problems, restore predictability, and put in place a team-lead layer that takes over after I leave.
Composable architecture
Former member of the Technology Council and admissions panel of the MACH Alliance. Certified in MACH & Composable Architecture.
Migration & replatforming
Legacy to cloud-native without pausing the programme. Migration path, risks and sequencing, through to the live cutover.
Boardroom-level communication
The bridge between technical complexity and executive decision-making. I speak both languages fluently, and I have sat at both tables.

Whether you need someone to take over a technology organisation, get an engineering function back on track, or act as a strategic sounding board: half an hour on a call usually gives you direction, and costs you nothing.
